Theatre academy is also an activity which is being conducted in the Parel Campus since 2018. Through the various workshops that are conducted, they not only teach acting skills to the children but also focus on improving the language skills, diction and pronunciation of the children which helps them with their academics too. The workshop benefits the students as it enhances their communication skills, voice modulation, reduces stage fear, develops qualities such as time management, scheduling, boosts inquisitiveness about things, stress management, portfolio management, encourages reading habits amongst the kids and a lot more. They learn how to face the audience, how to face the camera, also how “not” to do certain things. At the end of each level, the children are given certificates of their course. Opportunities to participate in experimental and commercial theatres at various competitions are also given by the academy.
